Cologne


Cologne is not only one of Germanys oldest cities it is the oldest major city in Germany. The name Cologne stems from the Roman empire. It was called "Colonia" and in the year 50 A.D. "Colonia" became a city. Cologne is situated in Nordrhein-Westfalen. It has round about 1.017.700 inhabitants. Despite its size, Cologne has never lost its neighbourly character.
